Fun Book Signing for The Monarch Alliance at The National Apple Museum

Author Jessica James sits with her hands on her new historical mystery novel The Monarch Alliance.

This past weekend was one I won’t soon forget.

I had the pleasure of signing copies of The Monarch Alliance at the Annual Blossom Festival at the National Apple Museum—a place that is located just north of Gettysburg and is rooted in history.

Author Jessica James wears a red coat sitting at a table with a red tablecloth with stacks of her novel The Monarch Alliance during a book signing event at the National Apple Museum.

The National Apple Museum is housed in a beautifully restored bank barn that dates back to 1857. The structure once served as a working agricultural barn in the heart of Adams County’s fruit belt before being preserved and repurposed decades later.

In 1988, the property was donated to the Biglerville Historical and Preservation Society, which transformed it into a museum that officially opened in 1990 to honor the region’s deep-rooted apple industry.

Meeting readers face-to-face is always the best part of writing a book. I had the opportunity to see a lot of old friends and met some new ones.

If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, you can take a look at what it’s about. It’s set at the real Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, N.Y.

I even have a book trailer!

Available everywhere books are sold.
